"Dani Orisa " međunarodni su arhitektonski simpozij
koji se u organizaciji tvrtke Arhitekst, izdavača časopisa Oris,
već osmu godinu tradicionalno održava posljednjeg vikenda u
listopadu.
"Dani Orisa" su zamišljeni kao dvodnevni niz predavanja
eminentnih arhitekata koji izlažu svoje radove, stvaralačke
pristupe i koncepte, problematizirajući temu građenja kroz prizmu
različitih autorskih pristupa. Na taj način je posjetiteljima
pružena prilika da iz prve ruke čuju izlaganja najznačajnijih
arhitekata današnjice, otvarajući uvid u široki raspon recentnih
arhitektonskih istraživanja i praksi. Visoki kriteriji odabira
predavača jamče relevantnost "Dana Orisa" kao vrijednog
kulturnog doprinosa kako u hrvatskom, tako i u internacionalnom
kontekstu, pri čemu je simpozij već tradicionalna prigoda za
okupljanje regionalne arhitektonske scene.
Uz predstavljanje vodećih dosega svjetske arhitekture posebna
ambicija "Dana Orisa" je prezentiranje i afirmiranje
lokalne suvremene arhitekture, te se na svakom simpoziju predstavi
po jedan protagonist s hrvatske i slovenske arhitektonske scene.
Veliki broj arhitekata i interesenata za arhitekturu odlično
su prilika za prezentaciju novih tehnologija, materijala i trendova
s područja arhitekture, graditeljstva, unutarnjeg uređenja i
srodnih područja. To dokazuju i sponzori "Dana Orisa"
kojih je iz godine u godinu sve više.
Stalno rastući broj sudionika simpozija najbolje pokazuje da
"Dani Orisa" više nego uspješno promoviraju suvremenu
arhitekturu i privlače znatnu pozornost stručne i šire javnosti.
Tako je manifestacija mijenjala mjesto održavanja - od Male
dvorane KD Vatroslav Lisinski (300 posjetitelja), Velike dvorane
Ekonomskog fakulteta (700 posjetitelja) do Kongresnog centra
na Zagrebačkom velesajmu (1200 posjetitelja) - da bio ove godine
svoje mjesto pronašla u Velikoj dvorani KD Vatroslav Lisinski
(1800 posjetitelja). |

"Days of Oris" is the international symposium of architecture
held on the last weekend in October. It has been organized by
Arhitekst, the publisher of Oris magazine, for eight years in
a row.
"Days of Oris" is a two-day series of lectures by
eminent architects who present their works, creative approaches
and concepts, exploring the topic of construction through the
lenses of different creative approaches. Visitors can hear at
first-hand lectures by some of the most significant architects
of our time, providing insight into a wide range of recent architectural
research and practice. The high criteria for lecturer selection
guarantee the relevance of "Days of Oris" as a valuable
cultural contribution in Croatian and international contexts.
Moreover, the symposium has established itself as a gathering
place for the regional architectural scene.
As well to present major achievements of world architecture,
"Days of Oris" wishes to show and promote local contemporary
architecture, presenting one of the leading figures from the
Croatian and Slovenian architectural scenes at each symposium.
The large number of architects and those interested in architecture
that come together is perfect for the presentation of new technologies,
materials and trends in the areas of architecture, civil engineering,
interior design and similar. This is confirmed by the sponsors
of "Days of Oris", since there have been more and
more of them each year.
The steadily growing crowd of symposium participants is the
best proof of success that "Days of Oris" has had
in its promotion of contemporary architecture, attracting much
attention from the professional and wider public. In fact, the
event has had to change its venue accordingly: from the Small
Hall of "Vatroslav Lisinski" (300 visitors), the Big
Hall of the Faculty of Economics (700 visitors) and the Congress
Center of the Zagreb Fair (1200 visitors), to the Large Hall
of "Vatroslav Lisinski" (1800 visitors) this year.
