Rašeljka Krnić: How Close Life and Death Are / People of Latin America

22/03/2016

The exhibition of photographs by Rašeljka Krnić, titled How Close Life and Death Are / People of Latin America will open on 30 March 2016 at 7 p.m.

While observing the photography taken by a sociologist Rašeljka Krnić, this collection that sums up her nine months long travel, the first thing that attracts our attention is the center of her interest, the fact that she chose to take photos of people even when she was surrounded by many other visual triggers like streets, cities, landscapes, art pieces and icons, places that are part of collective imagery.

One could say that people are her biggest concern, people from the street, common people. People she met on the streets, the ones she did not really look for, but the ones she stumbled upon while passing by. People, their eyes and their motion.
