Beside larger, generally ‘male’ offices, dealing with large projects and backed by politics and capital to create the architectural media ‘mainstream’, the Slovenian architectural scene offers smaller, comprehensive, less publicised, but excellent authorial groups. In the last few years a special place has been reserved in this segment for the architect Maruša Zorec and her team. They are enlightened, but also subtle in their professional attitude.
