The partnership of Fuensanta Nieto and Enrique Sobejano was formed in 1984 and this small Madrid-based office has designed an impressive succession of museums and cultural centres, in Spain, Austria, and Germany. In Donostia-San Sebastian, a resort city in the Basque Country near the French border, the firm have restored and extended the San Telmo Museum, making a linear addition to a converted 16th-century Dominican convent.
