There are places and cities that, by their energy of their location, emit incredible power. They are constructed, destroyed, and rebuilt through time and, just like phoenixes, they are beautiful again as if they were born anew. Jean Nouvel once said that Berlin was like Monte Cristo: regardless of time, regardless of the destruction it has been subjected to on many occasions and, regardless of the traumas it has gone through, it is always young. I have the same feeling every time I visit Zadar.
