An Echo of Several Histories

The Truffle is not just a small, remarkable building on the Spanish west coast. It’s a conceptual construction based on process-oriented thinking (like a scientific research) that was able to mix a one-of-a-kind experimental intervention with a very specific on-site construction.

The programme was simple enough to put all the effort and fun (they usually go along for architects...) into the earlier conceptual phase. No worries with perfection of shape or form, no need for exhausting detailed work. The driving force was the architect’s ability to think of a story and write the analogous storyboard.
