If there is truly an ideal investor in our time, it is Rolf Fehlbaum. Since 1977, he has been managing a firm that produces furniture. The firm, called Vitra and located in Weil am Rhein, founded as a mid-sized firm in 1934 by his father (Willi Fehlbaum), has a special affinity for content-based design. Before Rolf Fehlbaum took over the firm, however, he was interested in philosophy, sociology and did some work for the Bavarian chamber of architects.
