Last year, Postojna almost completely changed its appearance. Radical changes in the traffic regime and the reshaping of the town’s public open spaces, especially its central square, represented dynamic interventions into Postojna’s urban tissue. This small regional centre is getting a new character: once a very busy place on an important road linking the north Adriatic with the continent, it is slowly changing into a space that is pleasant to live in and adequate for pedestrians.
