Villa Prelovšek, which Jože Plečnik designed between 1931 and 1933, is his most impressive work of this type in Ljubljana. We could talk about a dwelling with its own cosmos. The aura which surrounds it creates a certain socio-cultural spiritual sphere beyond visual charm and constructional-technical finesses. The building disassociates itself from the real world outside, its turbulent and unpleasant networked constitution.
