The family house as a built life philosophy has always also been a sort of laboratory for investigating and questioning ideas. Therefore, it is no wonder that we owe most architectural icons of the 20th century to precisely this typology. The optimized solution of a family house which will be able to provide individualized private life should respond to some basic requirements, such as: good orientation, at least two-sided illumination, a layout solution which will enable an unhindered flow of space, flexibility, and established contact with the outside world.
