This is what I did with my nightclubs and hotels and I intend to do with people’s homes.’ The former Studio 54 club-owner, who spent 1980 in federal prison after IRS agents found bags of $2.5 million in unaccounted-for cash in his office and emerged from jail to reinvent the hotel as a chic lifestyle brand, is now taking on urban domesticity.
