The idea of the architect Neda Cilinger on how to revive a hidden, almost lost and forgotten space in the city of Zagreb was presented to the public more than two years ago. How to use functionally and give new contents to this invisible yet important space in the belly of the old city center – the Upper Town – in line with the new times and needs of the citizens. How to connect the Upper and Lower Town not by a mere underground road, a connecting lift but by an important place – integrating the visual arts, architecture and education.
