From the very beginning of the extensive draining and excavation works in the Rho-Pero area at the way in to Milan, the new Fiera di Milano became a national and international event.

The complex, covering 603,000 square metres located on a lot of 1,400,000 square metres, the period of 3 years from the competition results to the opening of first pavilions, the biggest construction site in Europe and most of all the architectural project of Massimiliano Fuksas all promised a “note” of the unexpected.
