When he was appointed to teach at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb in 1962, the thirty-nine-year-old Mladen Vodička, nicknamed Pan, finally had it going. The preparations that paved the way for his position at the Faculty were long, thorough and under the best possible guidance. After having worked with Anton Ulrich for several years, Vodička joined Professor Vladimir Turina and the strongest of design teams at the Faculty. Boris Magaš, the young rising star and the author of the Museum of Revolution in Sarajevo (1958) was Turina’s associate at that time as well.
