A quick glance is all it takes to see that the finest aspect of this interior is its detail: from the elegant display windows framed with minimalist profiles in stainless steel, to the elliptic glass cylinder standing on a base at the far end of this elongated space.
Let’s start with the two display windows opening onto the main square, Trg Bana Jelačića. One is framed by a one-piece stainless steel profile and is completely transparent. The other has a similar frame, but is cut through by a heavy, glossy black stone slab hung lightly over the entrance. This gesture is Rusan’s quotation of, that is, his homage to, Professor Crnković, whose interior preceded this one and had a similar stone slab cutting through the glass over the entrance.
