Architectural photography is in conflict with the common understanding of architecture. Architecture experiences the spatial dynamics of a constructed form, a form which we experience when we move in and around it. We understand the complexity, i.e. the depth of architecture through the dynamic process of movement.

A photograph, on the other hand, is the frozen sequence of that movement. It is a laboratory incision into the tissue of the building form.
