One of the valuable aspects of Austrian architectural scene is represented by de-centralization of a good, new architecture. Especially in the last decade, there is a rising conscience of small communities of the importance of the building articulation of community equipment.

A supposition that the engaged architecture would add to the cultural self-conscience and to identification possibilities of a certain community, is probably the reason that even small places more often organize public architectural competitions.
