The Owls Are Not What They Seem

architect Pascal Flammer
written by Andrea Zanderigo

On Pascal Flammer’s professional website, introducing an indeed impressive list of achievements, a very short biographical note reads …[he] travelled extensively in Europe, South America as well as the Middle and Far East… At first glance, the architect’s explicit desire to communicate such, supposedly, off-topic information might recall analogously naive statements from young wannabe-interns applying for a fancy office, such as John Doe likes Bundesliga or Jane Doe practices yoga. Why should you officially advertise your persona like that? Uncannily, there must be something deeply important for the author in his very specific keenness on letting us know. Obviously, we cannot avoid investigating this discrepancy.
