Transformation of the Existence

interviewed by Nuša Zupanc and Ana Kosi

Rado Riha is a professor of philosophy and a research fellow at the Centre for Scientific Research at the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU). First and foremost, however, he is a philosopher, also interested in the philosophy of architecture. One of the fundamental questions he addresses in his work is the question of the possibility of performing a true act in today’s world of globalized capitalism; that is, an act that serves as a radical interruption in and of the existing and, consequently, as the beginning of something new—an act that can truly change the given situation.
