No time should be so unfavorable as to completely discourage architectural research. At a time of stagnant construction, research moves into speculative domains of projects or texts. However, at the end of 2013 in Croatia there are no particularly fresh ideas or new authors, just as much of the debate on architecture is fragmented, too specific, or too generalized.
