The culture of water is recognized through the historical development of architecture. The ruins of thermae, baths and spas reveal to us the way of water usage and treatment that is reflected through the prism of social events, and determines the level of social life and, thus, the development of public spaces.

Throughout history, the thermae, baths, Turkish baths, pools, and thermal spas were the places of social contacts, emphasizing the importance of socializing. Before being declared or read out in the senate, regions, districts, municipalities, many important decisions were made at such places.
