Some stories are heroic; others are not. And there are different kinds of heroes.

 

Let’s go to 1960. After a powerful socialist president commissioned a group of young architects to construct a new capital city, from scratch, Brasilia was inaugurated in the heart of the Amazon becoming one of the most impressive building operations in the 20th century. It also expressed the triumph of Modern architecture in America and a new vision for urban progress.
