There is a widespread misconception, or at least a reductionist vision, in the understanding of how architecture operates on the scale of landscape. Normally, when architecture intends to create a relationship with its surroundings, it operates by constructing massive or extensive elements, or by creating a set of visual relationships according to the position it occupies in the landscape, either measuring or framing it.
