Glass That is Life

architect Leo Modrčin
project  59E59 Theathers, New York, SAD
written by Dominko Blažević

There are commissions all architects long for: libraries, museums, theaters – the usual. On the other hand, there are cities whose name makes many builders drool: for some, London, Paris or Rome will “do”, but for many of them (OK, us) it’s definitely New York City.

And when one of us is lucky enough to get a chance to design a theater in New York City, it is only natural to expect envy from many colleagues, but also nervousness and sweaty hands from the architect.

How does one get such a project?
