If you find yourself in Šestinski Dol, which is only 5 minutes by car from the western part of the Zagreb main street, you will forget that you are still within the city limits. Today, the narrow valley under the wooded eastern slopes of Vrhovac is a typical transitional area, where the gardens and orchards from before the Second World War are mixed with simple garden houses, residences with different standards, even those that are no more than a shelter, with family houses, even “urban villas” of immoderate dimensions.
