Paulina Jezvić's exhibition I recommend Vodka opens on Thursday, 21st of January 2016 at 20:00. A conversation with the artist at the opening will be moderated by Morana Matković.

Croatian Art of Today is the title of the series of solo exhibitions designed to present the current domestic art production, a format that Lauba has turned into its trademark. In addition to the previously presented exhibitions by Zlatan Vehabović, Lovro Artuković, Ivane Franke, Kristian Kožul, Kristina Lenard, Bruno Pogačnik, Viktora Popović, Marka Tadić, Alem Korkut, Žižić/Kožul tandem and TARWUK series continues in 2016 with the first solo exhibition by Paulina Jazvić in LAUBA - People and Art House.

The exhibition entitled I recommend Vodka will present to the Croatian public cycle of twenty large format created in the last two years. The author, known for its combination of techniques and materials, this time the subject remained within the research domain of modern society everyday life, with the focus on painting as a medium. You will have a chance to view author’s perspective on everyday life and modern society on 21st of January 2016 in the LAUBA - People and Art House.

Paulina Jazvić (1973) graduated in 1995 from the Clothing and Textile Design course at the Faculty of Textile Technology in Zagreb, and in 2001 received a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, in graphics, in a class of prof. Šutej. So far, she has exhibited in 70 group and 35 solo exhibitions. She is an active member of the Croatian Association of Artists and for her work she has received six awards. She is currently employed as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Textile Technology (TTF) in Zagreb, Clothing and Textile Design course and the Clothing Design.
