A recent study from OWL Lab and Global Workplace Analytics made on a sample of 1,202 full-time workers across the United States showed that today 62% of people do their “office” work outside the office. 

Work from home is the most popular regardless of industry, company size, workers age or the position in the company.

 

                                        

 

Remote workers we surveyed about the biggest reasons they decided to work remotely responded: better work-life balance (91%), increased productivity/better focus (79%), less stress (78%), and avoiding a commute (78%). 

 

 

              

These worldwide trends are blurring the boundaries between home and office

and completely change the way we have to design, build and equip our homes in future.
