The 25th Croatian Film Days Coming Soon

03/02/2016

The 25th Croatian Film Days will be held from 21 to 24 April, in Zagreb cinemas Europa and Tuškanac.

The popular festival will mark its silver jubilee with a celebratory edition, for which the organisers have prepared a number of surprises. Alongside the attractive competition program, the Festival will screen a record number of titles as part of its side programs. The audience will have the opportunity to see some of the titles for the first time on the big screen, as well as communicate with filmmakers and enjoy the great festival atmosphere.

For a quarter of a century, the Croatian Film Days have been a platform which offers a comprehensive overview of the current Croatian film production to a wider audience, including non-professional film. The Festival’s competition programs feature prizes awarded by the jury of international representatives, the Croatian Society of Film Critics, and the audience.

Last year, the organisation of the Festival was entrusted to a new team from Spiritus Movens Production. The new organisers are working towards realising the vision of the Croatian Film Days as the focal point of the best films produced during the previous year, focusing on the presentation, promotion, and evaluation of short and middle-length fiction, experimental, documentary, animated, and commercial films.
