Malo je tema koje se veličinom kreativnog izazova mogu mjeriti s oblikovanjem sakralnog prostora. U današnjem svijetu opsjednutom materijalnim vrijednostima funkcija prostornog mjerila za neizmjerno složenija je nego ikada. Osobito u okolnostima poput hrvatskih, gdje nakon nekoliko desetljeća praznine bilježimo svojevrsni revival religioznosti. Paradoksalno, oslobođena čvrstih konvencija koje su je stoljećima sputavale, religioznost se otvorila području novih kreativnih manifestacija koje zauzimaju središnju poziciju u kolektivnoj svijesti, aspiracijama i potrebama njezinog pamćenja.

Very few topics can measure the importance of its creative challenge to the importance of creation of religious space. In the present world, driven by material values, the function of spatial scale is much more complex than ever before. Especially in the Croatian situation, where a certain revival of religious life is being registered after so many decades of nullity. Paradoxically, having freed itself of firm restraining conventions religion has opened up to new areas of creative events, now occupying the central position in the collective consciousness, aspirations and the needs of memory.
