Pripremajući se za pisanje ovog teksta, progoogleao sam web napise s namjerom da se prisjetim nezaobilaznih, burnih stručnih i ostalih reakcija, pa i šakačkog obračuna, koje su pratile ovaj projekt. I s velikim sam zadovoljstvom ustanovio koliko sam već od tog trasha uspio potisnuti i zaboraviti. Zagledamo li se u srž ove kontroverze, naći ćemo ključnu riječ -Koeficijent (Kin). I, promatrajući arhitektonski, zaključiti da je, kao nigdje u Zagrebu, upravo taj Koeficijent ovome projektu dao zraka. Sagledavajući pak u cijelosti ovu, u najmanju ruku problematičnu temu, svi se zaključci nekako grupiraju uz dva neovisna žarišta: Eurotower, promatrano s klasične pozicije arhitekta urbanista,
ima promišljenu i na zakonima elementarne urbanističke kompozicije duboko utemeljenu poziciju i mjerilo, koji afirmiraju prirodan i poželjan razvoj grada, dok njegova arhitektura predstavlja promišljen odmak od standardne poslovne gradnje.

While I was preparing to write this article I browsed Google for web headlines in order to remind myself of the turbulent, apparently unavoidable, reactions of experts and others to this project that went so far that one of them even involved fists. I was glad when I realized how much of that "trash" I’d managed to suppress and forget. If we look deep into this controversy we will find one key word – Coefficient (Ku). Thanks to our architectural approach we shall surely come to the conclusion that it was exactly this Coefficient that gave this project some air like nowhere in Zagreb. On the other hand, looking at this problematic subject, to say the least, from a broader perspective all conclusions gather around two focal points, in one way or another: the Eurotower, from a classic architect/urbanist’s point of view, has a deliberate position and scale, both strongly based on elementary urbanistic laws of composition, which affirm the natural and desirable development of the city while its architecture represents a considerate detachment from usual office construction;
