Projektiranje individualnog stanovanja jedan je od najspecifičnijih zadataka arhitektonske prakse unutar kojeg se najintimnije provjerava stvarni kapacitet neke ideje. Koncept na kojemu se gradi tema nastaje zrcaljenjem niza iskaza korisnika u projektantovom izražajnom postupku ili u nekom od vokabulara koji tek treba testirati, a proces je nerijetko iscrpljujući, neizvjesnog ishoda i uključuje mnogo alternativnih scenarija s bezbroj iteracija. U idealnoj pretpostavci oba sudionika usuglašavaju se oko nekog reda i pravila i tada teče odnos fine uzajamnosti i povjerenja, što je za svakog projektanta priželjkivan odnos i garancija uspostave čvrstog okvira unutar kojega je moguće dotaknuti svijet ideja.

Designing individual housing is one of the most specific tasks of architectural practice, within which the realistic capacity of an idea is verified in most intimate terms. The conceptual theme constructed upon is created by mirroring an array of the beneficiary’s statements within the designer’s expressive procedure, or some vocabularies yet to be tested, while this process is often exhausting, of uncertain outcome, and includes a lot of alternative scenarios with an infinite number of iterations. Ideally, both participants come to terms on a certain order and rules, and then a relationship of reciprocity and trust unfolds – which is what every designer desires of any relationship; this is a guarantee for establishing a solid frame within which it is possible to reach up to the world of ideas.
