Slovenski arhitekturni produkciji zadnjih let se je z različnimi predstavitvami, razstavami, pomembnimi nagradami in predavanji protagonistov na pomembnih prestižnih arhitekturnih ustanovah uspelo etablirati v evropskih in celo širših, svetovnih arhitekturnih krogih. Kljub temu je opaziti, da je med številnimi, nesporno kakovostnimi rešitvami le redko mogoče najti resnično radikalno inovativne in drzne rešitve. Menim, da je bolj kot pomanjkanje poguma arhitektov razlog za takšno stanje nepripravljenost trga ali, bolje, nepripravljenost slovenskega kulturnega prostora za napredno in drugačno arhitekturo.

Slovenian architectural production has managed to establish itself. It has achieved this by various presentations, exhibitions, significant awards and lectures by protagonists at important prestigious architectural institutions, in European, as well as worldwide architectural circles during recent years. Still, it is noticeable that among numerous and undoubtedly high-quality examples, only rarely do we see truly radical, innovative and daring solutions. I think the reason for this situation is, more than lack of courage among architects, the market’s unpreparedness or, better said, the unpreparedness of Slovenia’s cultural space for progressive and different architecture.
