Days of Oris 16: Introducing the Speakers - Umberto Bonomo

We are introducing the speakers at Days of Oris 16!

Umberto Bonomo is a young producer and promotor of architecture, a participant of the currently most vibrant architecture scene, that of Chile.

He is an Urbanist and Architect by IUAV (Venice, 2004) and PhD in Architecture and Urban Studies by Catholic University (Santiago, 2009). Is Sub-Director in Development area and Assistant Professor in The School of Architecture at Pontificia Universidad Católica in Santiago. Is a researcher in Urban and Architecture Theory, Housing Projects and Heritage. He works as a designer in his own practice. His projects and researches have been published and exposed in many books, reviews and lectures, such as “Insularity and Difference” Columbia University NY (2009), Venice Biennale (2010), Chilean Biennale (2010), Expo Shanghai (2010), BIAU (2012), Sao Paulo Bienal (2013), Shenzhen Biennale (2016).
