The project of a library in Grosuplje had all the prerequisites for becoming a piece of unambitious, average, plain construction architecture. It is located in a more or less randomly developed local centre, a site hidden behind a rather insignificant example of traditional architecture in a large village (still not a city) in the shape of the old library, public financing (the cheapest is most acceptable) and the lethargy of an investor who cares only about the utilitarian elements of the premises; in brief, this was the destiny outlined for the latest project of A Studio.
