Formed Nature

written by Kristian Sotriffer

The roots of human feeling and thinking, if they are not manifested in language, can be found in their tangible relation to nature, which is in turn defined by them. In nature, and parallel to nature, a vocabulary develops that reaches towards a certain consciousness of form (which can, of course, be forgotten again, or lost).

To some extent, the concept underlying this text is concerned with phenomena, but it sheds light on more than the factual – it is concerned with the aesthetic. When we speak of adopted nature, the nature that man has designed and formed, we can see in it a certain system that stimulates thinking through the eyes. Thus it is possible to learn in what form systems organically develop and enter into a symbiosis with the environment.
