Should industrial halls be architecturally designed? Through numerous examples, we have grown accustomed not to expect such structures to have any aesthetical values or any specific meanings. We have come to terms with the fact that they simply have to be as they are, built in line with their own technology and optimal structure. Such a building has one sole purpose: to serve its business function. On a regular basis, these are standard constructions composed of prefabricated elements and set according to a banal urban plan. No one expects them to have distinctive spatial qualities or to be of particular importance for the given context.
