When taking into consideration what has been built, the controversy related to the construction of the Cvjetni Centre cannot be entirely understood. This new Centre is neither imposing nor inconspicuous and it is, judging from the result, difficult to comprehend how much protest and excitement occurred during the project. Immediately after realization of its first phase, the complex fitted entirely naturally into the Zagreb Lower Town block.
