At the recent architectural symposium in Maribor, the architect Aleš Prinčič gave a lecture where he explained that the starting point of his architecture is man, he designs for man. Ever since the concept of God as central reference was abandoned some 200 years ago, that has been quite a logical starting point. However, while looking at the seductive photos of the architectural work of Prinčič, which resemble carefully planned abstract compositions of colours and textures, a question arises: What kind of man does Prinčič have in mind when designing architecture?
