The Context
The Secondary School of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in Osijek was established amidst the uncertainty of forthcoming drastic changes in uncompetitive Croatian agriculture, the social changes they would bring, and the collective fear of Croatian farmers of the consequences the inevitable globalization and integration into the EU will bring.
The school integrates theoretical education and practice in the fields of veterinary medicine and agriculture, enables the pupils to practice in the lab and on the field, work with cattle and obtain practice in mechanics and mechanical engineering.
